Royal Pavillion

Brighton Pier
Brighton is the only town in Britain with a
Grade I listed pier. Generally known as the Palace Pier, it was
informally renamed Brighton Pier in 2000. Brighton Pier is famous for
its thrilling rides as well as a fantastic range of activities for
children. The Palace of Fun Arcade is packed with new machines and
games such as” Guitar Hero”. The pier also offers a host of snack
bars and restaurant. It is open daily from 10 am.
Sealife Centre
Opposite the entrance to the Brighton Pier
is the underwater world of Sealife Centre. Dating back to 1872, it’s the
world’s oldest aquarium. you can take a walk through the long underwater
observation tunnel to admire the stingrays and sharks swimming overhead.
Brighton Marina
Brighton Marina is UK’s largest yacht
harbor, offering docking area for up to 1,300 boats. You can take your
pick from a range of sailing lessons, yacht hire or sea fishing and
diving. The marina village offers a range of leisure and entertainment
facilities such as bowling, cinema, health club, restaurant, cafes and
bars as well as some outlet stores.
The Lanes
The Lanes form a retail, leisure and
residential area near the seafront. The narrow, winding roads are
filled with clothes shops, jewelers, antique shops, restaurants,
cafés, pubs and bars. Close by lies the Churchill Square Centre, an
indoor shopping centre with over 80 shops, and several restaurants.
Further retail areas include, Western Road and London Road.
